MODERN ESTATES

Personalized inheritance plans for digital assets

Key Features

Developer Abstract

Purpose

As digital assets become the new standard for global finance, inheritance plans must modernize. Legacy custodians support limited assets and rarely collaborate with third-party competitors. Smart contracts provide an irreplaceable guarantee of outcome. Using the same technology already securing trillions of capital, families can ensure their inheritance garners the same guarantees.

Method

Through multi-signature authorizations & dead man's switch vaults a customizable consensus of executors will trigger a transfer of assets to designated beneficiaries. Upon a grantor's death, family members, authorized representatives, and/or objective data inputs will sign the estate's smart contract to perform its designated functions.

Safeguard

Undeniable security.
A majority consensus of multiple executors builds a redundant layer of guarantee. No single executor is required to act and no single executor can maliciously act. This protects the grantor, beneficiary, and the executors from error. An optional executor includes an automated data feed from a trusted census database.
